The ceremony took place in the Talwandi area of Kota city, marking a significant step toward strengthening traditional medicine education and promoting wellness tourism in the region.

Om Birla emphasized that Ayurveda and Yoga are not merely medical systems but represent India’s ancient science of balanced health and lifestyle—rooted in holistic wellness principles. - Naming Proposal:
Birla proposed that the institution be named in honor of the late MP Vaidya Daudayal Joshi as a tribute to his contributions. - Research & Specialization Plans:
Future plans include promoting clinical research, hydrotherapy, cryotherapy, and massage therapy at the college. There will also be a strong focus on scientific standardisation to ensure high-quality Ayurvedic medicinal products and treatments. - Vision for Kota:
Birla underlined that the vision extends beyond education—to develop Kota as a major centre for Yoga, Ayurveda, and wellness, including plans for a 50-bigha Ayurveda Medicity and a medicinal park to boost health tourism and create employment. - State Government Support:
Deputy CM Prem Chand Bairwa, who also oversees the AYUSH department, highlighted that Ayurveda is both an art of living and science, and reiterated that Rajasthan is at the forefront of Ayurveda and AYUSH medicine in the country. - Funding for Related Projects:
An action plan worth ₹348 crore under the National AYUSH Mission has been approved to establish an Ayurvedic hospital in nearby Bundi, promoting wider healthcare development. - Presence of Dignitaries:
