In Rojadi area of Kota (under RK Puram police station), 32-year-old Jyoti Vaishnav and her 8-year-old daughter Palak were found dead inside their rented home.
Both were allegedly strangled — the mother while cooking and the daughter when she returned from school.
Their one-and-a-half-year-old son was found semi-conscious in his cradle.
💰 Alleged Motive
Police believe the crime was premeditated and linked to a financial dispute.
Jyoti had reportedly borrowed about ₹60,000, and when she refused to repay, one suspect allegedly conspired to kill her.
👥 Accused & Arrests
Two men — a relative (Pradeep Vaishnav, ~30) and his friend (Bharat Sahariya, ~20) — have been arrested.
A third suspect is still at large as investigations continue.
🚓 Police Response
Officers used CCTV footage, forensic evidence, and witness statements to identify and arrest the accused within about 48 hours.
Sixteen police teams are working to track down the remaining suspect and gather more evidence.

When the victim’s husband returned from duty, he found the door locked and no response — later discovering the bodies.
Inside the house, jewelry and the mobile phone were missing, indicating robbery was staged alongside the murder.
