Rajasthan Govt Renames Mohammadpura Village to Mohanpura

The decision was formalized through an official government notification, which has now been issued and will be reflected in all government records and official documents, including revenue and administrative records. Mohammadpura was historically the name of the village, but there had been a long-standing local demand to change it, which eventually reached the state government and was taken up for action. The renamed village Mohanpura is located under the Budhadit police station area of Digod tehsil and has around six to seven dozen houses. It is reported that the village is currently inhabited mainly by residents from the Hindu community, with no Muslim families presently living there. State authorities have now ensured that the previous name (Mohammadpura) will be updated everywhere, and the village will now be officially recognized and recorded as Mohanpura in all future government references and documentation.
